Couple of observations so far --->

1) Suggest the airplane is coloured black or flashing black/white etc. to try to make it more visually striking

2) How about a direct to button on the main display perhaps?

3) In landscape mode that keyboard is way too small (at least on my 7" GPS unit I'm running this on) how about a setting to allow users to choose the size & position of keyboard on screen perhaps for data entry?  Pushing the concept further how about when its time for date entry the whole screen is filled with a keyboard and the data entry/choice box that comes up, once you select your town/waypoint the keyboard and data entry form are gone and you are back to the map or route editor?

Does this help?

Ian

Hello Ian,

1. In the forthcoming version (a beta download of which is already available) the colours and size of the aircraft symbol are fully configurable.

2. There's not enough room left on the main screen but we've added a Direct To command under the Route menu in the forthcoming version, again you can try this today.

3. The Keyboard is part of Windows and we have no control over it beyond whether it's on or off. There might be a Windows setting somewhere in your device to control its size.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks.

I'll post a picture sometime for your interest! I think you could fit a little button between the zoom buttons for direct to on some screens (probably configurable for the use to decide if they want the button or not?) I've got a 7" screen so that probably influences me to think more can be fitted in!

I'll post a pic sometime to show you how great the software looks on it.

Posting screenshots is a good idea. Here's my Loox N560 - with not much room for extra buttons!

The actual display size is 3.5", 480 x 640.
